I am in the business of creating Counted Cross Stitch samplers and other designs
from 100 - 200+ year old ancient copyright-free French alphabets and motifs. Of
course, it is sometimes necessary to create new motifs or in the case of Is, Js and
Ws to create those letters in the style of the old alphabet which may not include them
depending on when it was designed originally.
We offer different classifications of samplers:

Samplers can be primitive or elegant, topical or generic, they can memorialize your
childhood memories, your family's journey, or simply call to you through their
beauty as they do for me.
Many (but not all) of the needlework designs I create are designed in monochrome (1
color). The stitcher may select to use a solid or an overdyed floss or to assign
specific colors as they choose. Images with color in them are for example only and
the chart will be coded that way but the color legend can easily be ignored or
changed by the stitcher.
